smsGuardian at Blissfield State Bank

We're proud to introduce smsGuardian, a new service available to customers.* smsGuardian is a service tied to your Blissfield State Bank debit card which provides text alerts to you when your card is used in certain situations.

smsGuardian features

You can receive text messages when your Debit Card triggers these events:

• Has a purchase greater than $200
• Has a purchase made outside of the US
• Has a declined authorization
• Is used but not swiped (e.g. online purchases etc.)
• Card is used more than 7 times within a rolling 24-hour period

If the transaction is legitimate, the message can simply be ignored. If the transaction is fraudulent, you can reply to the smsGuardian text with the code that you received and your Debit Card will be blocked from further use.

Signing up for smsGuardian

How do you enroll in smsGuardian? Simply click the "Enroll Here" button at the bottom of this page. Doing so will redirect you to the enrollment page. smsGuardian will be activated for your account after you provide the necessary information and authorize the activation of this service. Enrollment lasts for one year, after which time you will receive a text with instructions if you wish to re-enroll. You may discontinue the receipt of Alerts immediately by texting STOP in reply to a Guardian alert.
